White Peak Challenge 2025

Thank you so much for joining us to fundraise for our work! We are here to support you and will send your fundraising pack once you are booked on. Exciting!

This challenge walk is in the amazing White Peak area of the Peak District National Park - a fantastic way to raise funds for our outdoor mental health charity.  The funds you raise will help us support so many more people - with our formula of combining walking in nature, connecting with likeminded people who care, movement outdoors, mindfulness in nature, & professional wellbeing support.  A no pressure, no judgement, ‘shoulder to shoulder’ way to get support for any mental wellbeing challenge that life may bring.

The challenge is a fantastic 20 mile hike through Lathkill Dale nature reserve, Stanton Moor and some lovely traditional Peak District villages.

This is a challenging walk, so if you are not used to walking long distances please do contact us to check whether this is the right one for you, and we will be happy to advise!

Cost: £50 – To recover your £50 entry fee, we ask that you commit to raising at least £250 for the charity. This amount would help to cover a bursary place on one of our retreats, or 3 fully funded places on one of our day walks. If fundraising this amount feels a little overwhelming, please raise what you can and simply donate your entry fee. It will be worth every penny!

Teams are also welcome. For example, a team of 6 raising £1,500 would fund an entire Mind Over Mountains wellbeing walk, giving up to 18 people some much needed respite with a day in the hills and access to our professional wellbeing team.

If you would like to make a one off or regular small donation to the work of our charity, to help us support others and in recognition of your time with us, please click here. THANK YOU so much - we are a small charity and every donation is noticed and used carefully.

Frequently asked questions

Our fundraising challenge events do require higher levels of fitness than our normal walks and retreats, so we are always happy to chat about what's involved. Do just email us anytime!

We recommend our walkers wear walking boots with ankle support, walking shoes or off-road running trainers - the most important thing is having a more rugged sole/grip to prevent slips and potential injuries on rocky, muddy or uneven terrain. This doesn't have to be expensive or high-quality brands at all - Go Outdoors or Mountain Warehouse are generally very good value.

We do work with a fantastic organisation called KitSquad who can help with providing second-hand kit so please do feel free to contact them with what you need and hopefully they can help.

Dogs, other than registered assistance dogs, are not permitted on our events. Sorry! Please advise us in advance if you need to bring an assistance dog. Thank you.
