RED January
RED January is a nationwide movement that empowers people to move every day, to beat the winter blues away. Walk, swim, cycle, or choose your favourite fitness activity - the choice is yours!
Hannah Beecham founded RED January after witnessing the transformative effect that regular physical activity had on her mum's mental health, particularly during the winter months, a time of year where there's evidence of higher inactivity levels, and people report feeling lower in mood and energy.
The positive impact on RED participants is demonstrated by research undertaken by the University of Oxford, which shows that 74% of participants were more active than usual during the month, with more than half of participants experiencing a significant improvement in their happiness and a reduction in anxiety.

HF Holidays
The HF Holidays team completed their own Ullswater Way Challenge for Mind Over Mountains in 2023 – and generously donated the main prize in our Mega Prize Draw.
