Caroline White

Caroline is and experienced NED and Interim CEO having over 30 years’ experience operating at Board level delivering transformational change across sport and recreation, hospitality, youth development housing and social care. Throughout her career she has developed a deep understanding of the culture and governance of not-for-profit organisations.

Caroline was Chief Executive of the Youth Hostel Association (YHA) until 2017 and now combines her NED roles with Interim CEO roles for a range of charities including ShelterBox and British Lung Foundation.

She is involved with Mind Over Mountains because, from her own personal experience, she has found both the physical and mental well-being of getting outdoors and active extremely beneficial during tough times. She is currently an active runner, swimmer and walker and is trying to rediscover cycling!
